Jonathan Goldsmith Arranger

Jonathan Goldsmith is an extremely gifted musician and music producer, and one of the country’s most sought-after film & television composers. He has received thirteen Gemini nominations, and three Genie nominations, and has won three Gemini awards, as well as winning the British Academy of Film and Television Award (BAFTA) for his work on the acclaimed British-Canadian co-production Sex Traffic. Other credits include Sarah Polley’s first feature, Away From Her, Sturla Gunnarsson’s features, Such A Long Journey and Rare Birds, and the upcoming American feature Tenderness, starring Russell Crowe. Jonathan has also produced albums for many prominent Canadian recording artists, including Bruce Cockburn, Jane Siberry, Hugh Marsh and Martin Tielli. Jonathan was a founding member of the Art of Time Ensemble and has been involved in numerous projects with the group, as a performer, arranger and composer.
