Gregory Hoskins

Gregory Hoskins' recording career has spanned 32 years, 14 albums, and recording contracts in Canada, the U.S., Germany, and Asia.  Consistently critically lauded since the 1991 release of Moon Come Up (True North/Sony) through to 2020’s eponymous Gregory Hoskins, he has flown faithfully and agilely under the radar.

He collaborates regularly with Toronto's renowned The Art of Time Ensemble, most notably in The Poem/The Song with Margaret Atwood, Doghouse Roses with Michael Ondaatje, and 2018’s Leonard Cohen tribute, A Singer Must Die and appeared as a featured vocalist on their 2020 release Ain’t Got Long. He also collaborates with author/activist Stephen Jenkinson (Die Wise) on sold out reading/concert tours of the US, Australia, Iceland, New Zealand, Ireland and the UK on a project they call Nights of Grief and Mystery.

Between 2020-2022, the pair released 2 recordings, Rough Gods and Dark Roads, were the subjects of the short film Lost Nation Road, and released the 45-minute concert film/document Dead Starling Session.
