What is Sacred (2013)

What is Sacred

October 25 & 26, 2013

harbourfront centre theatre, toronto

What is Sacred Music? Is it music that is meant to exist in a place of worship? Can it be any music that touches on faith? This program featuring Canadian legend Jackie Richardson, Gregory Hoskins, Choir 21, and the stunning choreography of David Earle explores sacred music from manifold perspectives - across time and musical genres - from the early European Baroque to the heartland of America, from Afro American spirituals to the music of Olivier Messaien.
